Alder Group is experiencing significant growth, with a strong pipeline of civil and infrastructure projects across Southeast Queensland, including recently secured landmark community projects on the Gold Coast that will help shape the region for years to come.

We're looking for an experienced Civil Senior Project Manager to join our high-performing Civil & Infrastructure team and lead the successful delivery of complex projects from pre-construction through to completion.

/n

This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven construction professional who enjoys autonomy, responsibility and working alongside a capable team to deliver projects that leave a lasting impact on local communities.

About the role /n

/n

- Manage project planning, programming, forecasting and cost control.

/n

- Lead project delivery, ensuring safety, quality, programme and financial objectives are achieved.

/n

- Coordinate project teams, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver successful outcomes.

/n

- Identify and manage project risks, variations and contractual obligations.

/n

- Review project documentation and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications.

/n

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.

/n





- Prepare project reports and oversee project close-out and final contract administration.

/n

- Provide support and assistance to the estimating team to help procure work as required by the Civil and Infrastructure General Manager

/n

- Peruse in detail all project drawings, specifications and all other relevant documentation prior to project commencement and throughout project duration.

/n

- Organise and chair project start up meetings with the project team and all supporting pillars

/n

- Manage all head contract claims (variations, extensions or time, progress etc.)

/n

About You - Skills and Experience /n

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

/n

/n

- 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager within the Civil & Infrastructure sector.

/n

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline (preferred).

/n

- Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects from start to finish.

/n

- Strong commercial acumen with experience in programming, budgeting and contract administration.

/n

- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

/n

- A collaborative approach,



strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.

/n

- Proficiency with project management and digital construction systems.

/n
