Job Description

- Lead the Light Vehicle and Ancillary workshop
- Be accountable for safe and reliable execution of maintenance tasks
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance of light vehicles and support equipment, including service trucks, pumps, generators and trailers
- Prioritise and monitor breakdown repairs
- Provide updates on equipment availability to stakeholders
- Coordinate with contractors and ensure work is completed in a timely manner and to standard
- Support long-term planning and schedule improvement efforts

Requirements

- Completion of a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent trade qualification
- A valid driver’s licence
- Strong technical background in maintaining mining-spec light vehicles, such as Toyota Hilux/Land Cruiser fleets
- Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience within a mining or heavy industrial environment
- Proficient in maintenance systems, including SAP
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including supervising, mentoring and coordinating maintenance teams
