Job Description

Carmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects, HS2 , in the Buckinghamshire area.

This is an excellent chance to secure a long-term role on a major civils project, working alongside a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering complex earthworks, structures and infrastructure packages.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurate setting out using GPS and total station equipment
- Producing and maintaining as-built records
- Preparing, reviewing and managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with specifications and quality standards
- Leading and driving Quality Assurance (QA) processes on site
- Completing inspections,



quality records and associated documentation
- Liaising with site teams, subcontractors and management
- Supporting the delivery team with technical queries and engineering solutions

Essential Requirements

- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong setting out experience
- Extensive knowledge of ITPs, QA and quality management procedures
- Experience working with drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- CSCS Card
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
