Pro4x4 is seeking a capable automotive technician to join our specialist 4WD workshop in Queenstown. We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thinks through a job and takes pride in delivering a clean, professional result.
The work
You’ll contribute to a variety of 4WD upgrades and accessory installations, including:
- Bullbars, towbars, roof racks and protection equipment.
- Suspension upgrades, including springs and shock absorbers.
- Driving lights, UHF radios and associated wiring.
- Canopies, roller covers and touring accessories.
- Towing mirrors and careful removal and refitting of vehicle trims.
- Final inspections, function testing and documented quality checks.
What you’ll bring
- An automotive mechanical trade qualification and practical workshop experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a methodical approach to installation and problem-solving.
- The ability to follow manufacturer instructions, torque specifications and workshop procedures.
- Care with customers’ vehicles, interiors and accessories.
- Reliability, clear communication and the ability to work independently and alongside others.
- A professional appearance and an organised approach to your tools and workspace.
Experience with 4WD accessories, suspension and 12V electrical installations will be highly regarded.
