About the Role

Join a kitchen team that delivers fresh, consistent, high-quality food right on the water:

Bistro Team – Produce delicious, contemporary meals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Functions Team – Help deliver unforgettable weddings, celebrations, and corporate events with beautifully executed menus.
Prep & Production – Support the team by ensuring ingredients and stations are set, organised, and ready for service.

We’ll provide training, support, and a great team culture — you bring the passion and willingness to roll up your sleeves.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting in cleaning all kitchen surfaces
- Wash mop and sweep kitchen floors
- Put away dishes, pots and pans
- Assist in food preparation when required

What We’re Looking For

We’re after people who:

- Have a solid work ethic and a genuine love for cooking.
- Are adaptable, calm, and focused — even when service gets busy.
- Take direction well and understand the importance of teamwork.
- Have pride in presentation, consistency, and doing things properly.
- Are reliable, easy to work with,



and respectful to teammates.
- Show interest in developing their skills and growing with the Club.
- Bring a positive attitude and contribute to a great kitchen culture.

Preferred Attributes & Skills

- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar high-volume dining environment (pubs, hotels, restaurants, bistros).
- Experience across any cuisine background is welcomed.
- Ability to work across days, nights, weekends, and public holidays (weekdays preferred). At this time, full day availability on Thursdays and Fridays is a must have.
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation.
