Location: Balaclava, Melbourne

You should be able to bake cakes and cupcakes professionally , bulk batches 50kg batters !!!!!!! Must Have,

No Home Bakers.

Hours: Wednesday and Friday (Must)

Looking for 2 days

Shift: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Food Voyageur is looking for a hardworking, Baking assistant to join our fast-growing cake business.

We are a busy, high-volume kitchen where quality, speed and attention to detail matter. We're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a kitchen spotless and is happy to jump in and help wherever needed.

Your responsibilities

- You should know how to bake its a must !!!!
- Thoroughly clean cake tins, baking trays and kitchen equipment
- Clean benches, floors, sinks and workstations
- Wipe and maintain cupboard doors and kitchen surfaces
- Wash dishes and keep the kitchen organised throughout the shift
- Assist the pastry chefs with basic preparation, including:
- - Baking cupcakes
- Making buttercream
- Preparing ingredients
- Packing and general kitchen duties





- Help maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
- Support the team during busy periods

We're looking for someone who:

- Has strong attention to detail
- Has excellent cleaning standards
- Works quickly without compromising quality
- Has common sense and can think ahead
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace
- Can follow instructions but also work independently
- Previous kitchen or bakery experience is an advantage, but not essential
