This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant looking to join a substantial organisation with a strong track record of success and an established national presence. Based in Brisbane's north, you'll become a key member of a well-structured group finance team, working closely with experienced leaderswhilemanaging and developing a team of two.
Unlike a narrowly focused financial accounting position, this role offers plenty of variety and exposure across financial reporting, tax, statutory accounting, audit, systems and team leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
Take ownership of key month-end accounting and balance sheet processes
Prepare consolidation, AASB 16, accrual and taxation journals
Manage key tax compliance including BAS, PAYG, GST and FBT
Assist with statutory accounts and annual income tax requirements




Play a key role in the annual external audit
Prepare Capex reporting and fixed asset schedules
Support cash forecasting and broader Group Finance activities
Identify and implement improvements to systems and processes
Mentor and develop a Financial Accountant and Finance Officer
You will be CA/CPA qualified with a robust grounding in financial accounting, Australian Accounting Standards and taxation. Exposure to a large ERP environment will be valuable.
