Job Description
STORE MANAGER
n
FALL POP-UP LUXURY WOMEN'S BRAND
n
Join a London-based designer fashion house built on the belief that fashion should sell a feeling: happiness. This brand creates joyful experiences that make people smile, and we're looking for a Store Manager who naturally embodies that same spirit and can lead a team to bring it to life every day.
n
This isn't a traditional luxury retail leadership role. It's an opportunity to set the tone for warmth, positivity, and genuine personality across an entire store - building a team that helps every customer leave happier than when they arrived.
n
The Role
n
As Store Manager, you'll be the face of leadership for the pop-up - responsible for building, coaching, and motivating a team that brings the brand's joyful spirit to life, while owning the store's overall performance, operations, and presentation. You set the standard the rest of the team follows.
n
This role is ideal for someone who leads with warmth and energy rather than pressure - a natural people-leader who is equally comfortable coaching a team, reading the sales floor, and stepping in personally with a client when it matters.
n
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
n
n
- n
A natural leader who brings warmth, positivity, and steady energy to a team, even during a busy trading day
n
- n
Genuinely embodies the brand ethos - joyful, curious, generous, and authentically stylish - and can instill that same spirit in others
n
- n
Confident, decisive, and calm under pressure, with excellent communication skills
n
- n
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across people, product, and operations at once
n
- n
Comfortable holding a team accountable while still leading with warmth, not authority for its own sake
n
- n
Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of pride and ownership over how a space looks, feels, and performs
n
n
Key Requirements
n
n
- n
Prior experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role (Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Keyholder) is required
n
- n
Luxury or premium fashion background is a plus,
but the right leadership instincts and personality matter more than a resume line
n
- n
Understands that selling is about creating trust, helping clients style themselves, and making people feel good - and can coach a team to sell the same way, never through pressure
n
- n
Comfortable owning scheduling, inventory systems, and day-to-day store operations (POS, stockroom, reporting)
n
- n
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and key trading periods, including opening and closing shifts
n
n
What You'll Own
n
Team Leadership & Development
n
n
- n
Recruit input, onboard, and train new team members so they can authentically represent the brand from day one
n
- n
Coach the team on clienteling, styling, and service standards through real-time, on-floor feedback
n
- n
Build and manage the staff schedule to ensure consistent coverage and energy on the floor at all times
n
- n
Motivate and support the team day-to-day, creating a positive, close-knit working environment
n
n
Customer Experience
n
n
- n
Set the standard for how every customer is welcomed and made to feel at home from the moment they walk through the door
n
- n
Personally step in on key client relationships and escalations, modeling the brand's high-touch service style
n
- n
Ensure the team consistently delivers thoughtful after-sales care, including personalized thank-you messages
n
n
Sales Performance
n
n
- n
Own overall store sales performance, tracking daily, weekly, and monthly targets and adjusting team focus accordingly
n
- n
Identify trends on the floor and coach the team on selling techniques to meet them, always customer-experience-first
n
- n
Report store performance and client insights back to the brand/RFTP point of contact
n
n
Visual Merchandising & Brand Presentation
n
n
- n
Maintain impeccable visual merchandising and store presentation, holding the team accountable to the same standard
n
- n
Ensure the space reflects the brand's joyful, stylish spirit at all times, adjusting as needed throughout the day
n
n
Operations & Store Management
n
n
- n
Own store operations end-to-end: opening and closing procedures, inventory management, stock deliveries, and back-of-house organization
n
- n
Process sales, exchanges, and daily store operations accurately, and ensure the team does the same
n
- n
Monitor, prepare, and fulfill e-commerce orders promptly
n
- n
Lead and coordinate store events, activations, and special projects
n
- n
