Waratah-Wynyard Council are seeking a passionate Diploma or Certificate III to join our Warawyn Early Learning Team!
Are you passionate about nurturing and educating young minds in a supportive, team-oriented environment? We are currently seeking dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our committed and caring team!
Permanent, Parttime, Casual positions available.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- A current Working with Vulnerable People card.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Extra Superannuation (12% SGC plus an additional 50% of any extra super an employee contributes up to 4% of the employee’s salary)
- Up to 12 weeks parental leave
- Additional leave, 3 days additional paid leave over the Christmas holidays
- 17% leave loading annually

Statements addressing Essential Selection Criteria:
- 1. Completion of, or working towards, a Diploma in Childcare qualification or other qualification recognised by the Childcare Unit; *
- 2. Proven experience in a similar role in a childcare service and sound, practical knowledge of early childhood. *
- 3. Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement and the early years learning framework and the regulations and standards applicable to the relevant service *
- 4. Comprehensive understanding of Child Development *
- 5. Confidence to communicate with team members and parents *
- 6. A commitment to operating within a framwork with colleagues and parents which ensures mutual understanding for the benefit of the child *
- 7. Flexible and mature approch which ensures optimum outcomes for the child *
- 8. Ability to be resourceful, creative and imaginative to assist program delivery *
