We are currently seeking a Laundry Assistant to fill a vacantposition within the team providing support services atBethanie Waters Aged Care Home located in PortKennedy.

This role is offered on PartTime basis.

About the role:

- Ensuring all laundry and linen is laundered correctly, andinfection control practices are adhered to
- Sorting and washing linen by wash temperature, colour,degree of soiling, infectious nature, fabric and fibre
- Loading and unloading washing machines and tumbledryers
- Sorting and folding clean and dry linen
- Reporting damage or wear and recommending repairs orreplacement

You will also have the opportunity to work in other areas of ourhospitality team including Domestic Cleaning or Kitchen Hand.

About you

- Possess a passion for, and previous experience working as aLaundry Assistant ideally in an aged care, hospital or similarenvironment




- You bring a “can do” attitude and a genuine compassion forour residents
- Ability to work both independently and as part of ateam
- Knowledge of appropriate chemical usage relating to laundryprocesses
- NDIS worker screening clearance or willingness to apply forone
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
