Project Engineer | $1.7B Defence Infrastructure Project Relocation Support Available n
Build infrastructure that will support Australia's Defence capability for the next 30 years.

The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV) , a 50/50 partnership between CPB Contractors and Downer , is delivering a landmark $1.7 billion Defence infrastructure program across regional New South Wales.
n
Spanning RAAF Base Wagga, Blamey Barracks Kapooka, and Albury Wodonga Military Area , this transformational project will create world-class facilities and critical infrastructure that will support Defence operations for generations to come.

As project momentum continues to build, we're seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at RAAF Base Wagga and help deliver one of Australia's most significant Defence infrastructure programs.

About the Role n
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll contribute to the successful delivery of construction activities from planning through to completion.
n
Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders, you'll help ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
- Coordinating and managing assigned work packages
n
- Planning and programming construction activities
n
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies
n
- Monitoring project progress, productivity, costs, and quality outcomes
n
- Managing subcontractor performance and site interfaces
n
- Resolving engineering and technical challenges
n
- Supporting project reporting and documentation
n
- Ensuring compliance with project standards and contractual requirements
n
- Promoting and contributing to a solid Zero Harm culture
n
About You n
We're looking for motivated Project Engineers who thrive in dynamic project environments and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver outstanding outcomes.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
- Degree qualification in Engineering
n
- 5-8 years of experience within building, infrastructure, or major construction projects
n
- Experience delivering commercial, residential, education, healthcare, accommodation, Defence, or institutional projects
n
- Exposure to areas such as fitout, facades, piling, precast, roofing, services, infrastructure, or commissioning works
n
- Strong understanding of project delivery, planning, and subcontractor management
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
n
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency with the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
n
