Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead the development, maintenance, and assurance of integrated project and program schedules.
n
- Provide expert analysis of schedule performance, including critical path, float consumption, productivity trends, and forecasting outcomes.
n
- Conduct schedule health checks, compliance reviews, and assurance assessments across projects and programs.
n
- Lead schedule risk workshops and support quantitative schedule risk analysis and contingency assessments.
n
- Support project teams with scenario planning, recovery planning, and what-if analysis.
n
- Develop and manage resource-loaded schedules, resource forecasting, and capacity planning activities.
n
- Provide strategic planning support during bids, tenders, project mobilisation, and major project reviews.
n
- Present schedule insights, recommendations, and recovery strategies to senior management, clients, and project stakeholders.
n
- Mentor and develop schedulers and project controls professionals across the business.
n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives relating to scheduling processes, reporting, automation, and digital project controls solutions.

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
n




- 15+ years' experience in project planning and scheduling across complex, multidisciplinary projects.
n
- Advanced Primavera P6 expertise, including resource loading, baselining, earned value integration, schedule assurance, and forensic schedule analysis.
n
- Extensive experience developing, managing, and assuring complex project schedules, integrated master schedules, and program schedules.
n
- Strong understanding of project controls principles, forecasting, progress measurement, earned value management, and schedule performance analysis.
n
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex project challenges through sound judgement, analytical thinking, and technical expertise.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and coordinate across engineering, procurement, construction, client, and project management teams.
n
- Proven leadership capability with experience mentoring, coaching, and providing technical direction to project teams and junior planners/schedulers.
n
- High-level analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
n
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
n
- Ability to work independently under broad direction while managing competing priorities in a dynamic project environment.
n
- Advanced proficiency with project scheduling,



project controls, and reporting systems and tools.
n
- Experience across major infrastructure, defence, resources, energy, water, or transport projects is highly regarded.
n
