MacKellar is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team and help drive the reliability, availability and performance of a large mobile mining fleet.

n

Working closely with the Planning & Reliability team, you’ll take ownership of maintenance planning, scheduling, defect management and backlog control to ensure critical work is completed safely and efficiently.

The Role n

You’ll coordinate planned maintenance activities across a large fleet, ensuring work is prioritised, resourced and delivered to support production requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

n

n




- Developing short and long-term maintenance plans
n
- Scheduling servicing, component replacements and shutdowns
n
- Managing maintenance backlogs and prioritising critical work
n
- Tracking equipment defects and coordinating corrective actions
n
- Working closely with Supervisors, Trades and Operations
n
- Escalating critical equipment issues and emerging risks
n
- Maintaining accurate planning data and maintenance records in JDE
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency and fleet reliability
n

About You n

You’ll bring:

n

n
- Proven maintenance planning experience in heavy mining
n
- Strong knowledge of ultra-class mining equipment
n
- Relevant mechanical trade qualification
n
- Experience with JDE or similar maintenance management systems
n
- Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
n
- Current Standard 11 or ability to obtain
n
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
n
- Strong organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills
n
