Maintenance Fitter – FMCG/Food Industry Role: Maintenance Fitter Company: Leading FMCG business with a fantastic Culture Reputation Rate: $* an hour + 15% shift loading Roster: Monday to Friday 2:30pm – 10:30pm We are currently seeking a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business.
This is a excellent opportunity for a skilled fitter who enjoys a hands-on maintenance role and is looking for a secure Monday-to-Friday afternoon shift with a well-established company.
FMCG or food manufacturing experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
The Role Working as part of a supportive maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring production machinery and equipment remains protected, reliable and operational.
Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance Attending to breakdowns and mechanical faults Diagnosing and repairing production machinery Maintaining conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings and pneumatic equipment Completing machinery adjustments,



repairs and changeovers Assisting with maintenance projects and continuous improvement initiatives Working closely with production to minimise downtime Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently About You We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Maintenance Fitter who has: A recognised Mechanical Fitter / Fitter Turner trade qualification Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Experience with production machinery and equipment A proactive approach to preventative maintenance The ability to work independently and as part of a team A strong commitment to safety FMCG or food manufacturing experience – highly desirable What's on Offer?
