Position Title: Waiter
n Description: Serves food and beverages in a hotel, restaurant, club or dining establishment.

3. ENGLISH LANGUAGE

n

This position requires a high level of proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with staff, suppliers, and customers.

n

4. FULL-TIME POSITION ONLY

n

This is a full-time, ongoing position based in Jugiong, NSW.

n

5. OCCUPATION TASKS

n

Main Tasks Include:

n

Sets up tables and arranges seating for customers

n

Takes orders from customers for food and beverages

n

Provides recommendations and suggestions to customers regarding menu items

n

Clears tables and ensures the dining area is clean and presentable

n





Handles customer enquiries and resolves issues or complaints

n

Takes payment from customers

n

Stocks and replenishes supplies and inventory as needed

n

Follows health and safety regulations and maintains a clean and hygienic work environment

n

Serves food and beverages in a hotel, restaurant, club or dining establishment.

n

6. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

n

Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Waiter or Food and Beverage Attendant in a dining or similar workplace.

n

Strong communication and customer service skills.

n

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.

n

Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.

n

Professional presentation and attention to detail.

n

Ability to handle customer feedback and resolve issues effectively.

n

Understanding of hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.

n

7. QUALIFICATIONS

n

• AQF Certificate II or III in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Service; OR
n • At least one year of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
n • Additional on-the-job training or relevant certifications (such as RSA) may be required.
