About the Role n

We are seeking experienced Emergency Department and Intensive Care Registered Nurses to join Alice Springs Hospital. You'll work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced acute workplace while supporting patients from across Central Australia.

Key responsibilities n

Deliver safe, evidence-based care within the Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit

n
- n

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing clinical monitoring

n
- n

Recognise and respond to patient deterioration and emergency situations

n
- n

Administer medications, blood products, and advanced therapies within scope of practice

n
- n

Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health teams

n
- n

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and standards

n
- n

Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in a culturally diverse healthcare setting

What you'll need nn
- n

Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse Division 1)

n
- n

Minimum 2 years post-graduate Emergency Department or Intensive Care nursing experience

n
- n

Demonstrated experience working in a high-acuity Emergency Department and/or ICU

n
- n

ALS certification highly regarded

n
- n

Triage experience preferred for Emergency Department applicants

n
- n

Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced acute environment

n
- n
