Graduate Quality Engineer About the role n
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑driven Graduate Quality Engineer to join our Aftersales team. Reporting to the Aftersales Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the technical quality of products and ensuring inspection standards are consistently applied across the CRC (Customer Repair Centre).

This role is well suited to someone with strong technical capability, a passion for quality, and the confidence to collaborate across local and global stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities n
n
- Conduct product inspections in line with established quality criteria and inspection procedures
n
- Develop and improve inspection and test procedures for new and existing products
n
- Identify, document, and report product defects, non‑conformities, and deviations from quality standards
n
- Monitor inspection trends and quality metrics to support quality improvement initiatives
n
- Compile, analyse, and assist with reporting of quality data and performance metrics
n
- Train and upskill current and existing team members in inspection, testing, and diagnostic procedures
n
- Support root cause analysis and contribute to corrective and preventative actions
n
- Collaborate closely with Quality Engineering and other stakeholders locally and offshore (including Asia‑based teams)
n
- Maintain accurate and complete inspection records and documentation
n
- Participate in calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment
n
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OH&S;) standards and promote safe working practices
n
Skills and experience n
n
- This role is well suited to someone with a strong technical capability, a passion for quality and the confidence to collaborate across local and global stakeholders to drive continuos improvement. Hands-on experience with power tools would also be highly advantageous
n
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret inspection data and identify trends
n
- Understanding of and experience with power tools or similar consumer products (highly regarded)
n
- Sound understanding of quality control methodologies and tools (e.g. ISO standards, Six Sigma)
n
- Experience preparing inspection reports, quality metrics, and non‑conformance documentation
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders
n
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and components such as motors, gears, and bearings (desirable)
n
- Understanding of power tools or similar consumer products (highly regarded)
n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
n
- A proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement
