Tasks:
n
n
- Prepare and draft environmental assessment reports or sections of reports (under part 4, 5 or 3A). Such reports may include REFs, EISs, part 3A environmental assessments and EMPs
n
- Prepare and draft other project documentation and correspondence
n
- Prepare and provide environmental advice to clients
n
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and work co-operatively with people at all levels to achieve outcomes
n
- Manage multiple tasks on a range of projects and effectively deal with conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines
n
- Ensure compliance with quality management system requirements
n
- Communicate and maintain good relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers and project stakeholders
n
- Proactive in managing utilisation/budget and takes corrective action if necessary, in consultation with the project manager and/or project leader
n
- Provide inputs to project progress reports for issue to clients
n
- Undertake other work as required by the relevant project manager and/or project leader
n

Requirements n
About You:
n
n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- Organised and diligent in project administration (including invoicing and budget administration)
n
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
n
- Good team work skills and ability to work well under pressure
n
- Understand the need for discretion when dealing with confidential matters
n
- High levels of flexibility with an affinity for working on several projects at once
n
- Have a strong background in NSW and ACT environmental planning and assessment, including a solid understanding of the requirements of the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and the ACT Planning and Development Act 2007
