Role summary n
We're looking for a Registry Officer to join our growing team in Sydney. You'll play a critical role in managing investor onboarding, registry maintenance, and capital activity execution for a portfolio of private market funds.
n
This is a hands-on role that sits at the core of our operations-ensuring that investor records are accurate, compliant, and up to date. You'll work closely with fund accounting, legal, and implementation teams, and be supported by a modern, AI-native platform designed to automate the manual work.
What you'll do: n

- n
Investor Onboarding & AML/KYC
n
Review and validate investor onboarding documentation (including AML/KYC) in line with regulatory and fund-specific requirements across AU/NZ jurisdictions.
n
- n
Investor Registry Management
n
Maintain accurate investor registers, including updates to personal/company details, tax residency, banking instructions, and reporting preferences.
n
- n
Capital Activity Processing
n
Support end-to-end execution of capital calls, distributions, transfers and unit issues/redemptions, including preparing investor notices and updating registry records.
n
- n
Communications & Reporting
n
Generate and send investor correspondence including transaction notices, holding statements,
confirmations and ad hoc letters. Ensure a high-quality investor experience.

Compliance & Controls
n
Ensure processes comply with AML/CTF laws, FATCA/CRS requirements, and trust deed or PDS specifications. Support audits and compliance reviews as required.

Workflow Management
n
Track tasks and workflows using internal tools and systems. Flag delays or exceptions early, and collaborate with other teams to resolve open items efficiently.

Process Optimisation
n
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency or quality of investor operations, and contribute to automation initiatives across the registry function.

What we're looking for: nn
- n
2+ years of experience in a registry, investor services, or unit registry role - ideally within fund administration, managed funds, or custody
n
- n
Strong understanding of AML/KYC requirements, especially in Australia and New Zealand
n
- n
Experience handling investor capital activity workflows and working with investor registers
n
- n
High attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- n
Familiarity with registry platforms or transfer agency systems preferred
n
- n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
- n
Self-starter who enjoys process improvement and takes ownership of their work

- n
Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth environment is a plus
