As a division of Coregas, Blacksmith Jacks is a specialist in the industrial gas and welding industry. We also stock and supply a large range of hand tools, power tools, generators, PPE, welding consumables and more.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, we're looking for a self-motivated and safety-focused team player to join the team in an Internal Sales role and help us achieve our goals.

n

What you will be doing

n

n
- Providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels and maximising sales opportunities.
n
- Greeting customers and attending to phone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner
n
- Merchandising the showroom to a high standard and restocking shelves
n
- Undertaking stocktakes, ensuring a high level of accuracy
n
- Identifying stock or products that are slow moving
n
- Monitoring and actioning back-order reports daily
n
- Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy showroom at all times
n
- Administration tasks as required.
n

What we need from you

n

n
- Demonstrated experienced in a retail, sales or customer service environment, ideally from a trades/industrial background.
n
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and achieving sales targets
n
- Demonstrated ability of working safely, being accountable, acting ethically, and treating everyone with respect
n
- A flexible can-do attitude and ability to adapt
n
- Demonstrated ability to work well both in a team environment and independently
n
- Ability to undertake accurate stock counts and maintain high attention to detail
n
- Good computer skills and experience using POS systems.
n
- Willing and able to work in a quick-paced environment,



where you will be on your feet most of the day.

A background or interested in the industrial and/or welding industry is highly desirable. A driver's license and forklift license would also be beneficial.
