Job Description n
n
- Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
n
- Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
n
- Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
n
- Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc
n
- Managing project safety and environmental requirements
n
- Managing project timelines, risks and reporting
n
- Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
n
- Being engaged with marketing and business development initiatives
n
- Co-ordinating vendor scope with overall project delivery
n
- Contract Execution: Drafting contract documents in strict accordance with legal approved contract templates. Working closely with project team/s to ensure effective and timely document processing and management of contract documents
n
- Bring strong communication, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
n
Qualifications nn
- Technical understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure - HVAC, Electrical, Generators, Fire, Security and BMS
n
- Professional/tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or construction
n
- A minimum of 5 - 10 years project management experience, preferably gained within a Data Centre or similar technical environment.
n
- A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project inception stage, design,
authority approvals through to construction completion and post-project review
n
- Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques
n
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment
n
- Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be highly regarded
n
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills
n
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
n
