Job Description
Amazon's Brisbane based software engineering teams own the critical last hop in outbound fulfillment of customer orders. The features you build have direct impact on customers lives. You will work with scientists and engineers to optimize fulfillment processes, reducing costs and improving quality. You will experiment with new ideas, turning the successful ones into full production systems whilst failing fast and learning from those which are not. We obsess over reducing the time and cost in fulfilling a customer's order.n

nBuild creative and highly distributed systems to enable a world class, cost-effective, and flexible under the roof solutions.n
nCreate customer facing software that's used on Amazon sites world widen
nWork on the A to Z of problems, at scale, for real customers.n
nOwn the development of software end to end, from working with stakeholders on requirements through to owning the ongoing operations of the software that you build at scale. n
nKey Responsibilities include:-n
n- Ability to code right solutions starting with broadly defined problems,n
n- Understand basic Algorithm fundamentalsn
n- Development of code in object oriented languages like C++ and java and build large scale robust distributed systemsn
n- Candidates for this role must have:n
n- You must be in the final semester/ trimester of a university undergraduate or postgraduate degree , or have completed your university studies within the past 24 months of applyingn
n- Able to commence a role by 1st March 2027n
n- Enrolled/Completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology at university or relevant tertiary institution (preferably an Australian University)n
n- Experience developing in a Linux workplacen
n- Experience developing software on Amazon Web Services (AWS) platformsn
