Located in Artarmon, NSW 2064, S C MEDICAL PTY LIMITED is currently seeking a Biomedical Engineer to become part of its growing team.
Key Responsibilities:

n • Designing, developing, testing, and evaluating biomedical equipment and medical devices to meet clinical and operational requirements.
n • Installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing biomedical equipment to ensure secure and reliable performance.
n • Conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and performance testing of medical devices.
n • Investigating equipment faults, identifying technical issues, and implementing effective solutions.
n • Ensuring all biomedical equipment complies with relevant Australian standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance requirements.
n • Preparing technical reports, maintenance records, and equipment documentation accurately and efficiently.
n • Liaising with healthcare professionals, suppliers, and manufacturers to provide technical support and equipment recommendations.




n • Assisting with the evaluation, commissioning, and implementation of new medical technologies and equipment.
About you:

n • At least one year of relevant experience as a Biomedical Engineer or in a similar role.
n • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
n • Strong technical knowledge of biomedical equipment, medical devices, and diagnostic systems.
n • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
n • Ability to interpret technical documentation, specifications, and engineering standards.
n • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and technical teams.
n • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate technical records.
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum.
