Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer for a leading IT consulting client in Sydney. You will be responsible for designing, coding and testing software applications to meet client requirements. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working on complex projects, taking ownership of the code and providing guidance to junior developers. Our client is a dynamic and growing consulting firm with a focus on delivering creative digital solutions to leading banks, ASX-listed companies, and government agencies.

nRequirements n

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Java development

n

• 5+ years of experience in Java 8+

n

• 3+ years of experience in Microservice and familiar with Microservice patterns

n

• 2+ years of hands-on development experience in AWS

n





• 6+ months experience in Spring WebFlux or a clear understanding of Webflux with the

n

ability to write Reactive services

n

• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes etc...

n

• Experience in multithreading, modularity of code, and de-coupling with APIs

n

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA

n

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
