Praxis Solutions is expanding our team and looking for passionate Therapeutic Youth Support Workers to join our residential programs.

n

- Senior Youth Workers – Permanent Part-Time

About the Role n

As a Youth Worker , you will provide day-to-day care, supervision and support to children and young people, build positive relationships, support routines and activities, and contribute to a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment.

n

As a Senior Youth Worker , you will provide the same high-quality care while also leading, mentoring and supporting Youth Workers and contributing to team development, care planning and service delivery.

Permanent Part-Time Rosters n

Youth Worker – Roster Lines B, C & D

n

n
- 48 or 56 hours per fortnight
n
- 4–5 sleepovers per fortnight
n
- No back-to-back sleepovers
n
- 3 consecutive days off
n
- Every second weekend off
n
- 1 double shift per fortnight
n

n

Senior Youth Worker – Roster Line A

n

n
- 72 hours per fortnight,



with option to increase
n
- 1 sleepover per fortnight
n
- No back-to-back sleepovers
n
- Every second weekend off
n
- 1 double shift per fortnight
n

n

Our structured roster model provides greater consistency and stability for staff and young people , while supporting community access, activities and individual needs.

About You n

We are looking for people who are:

- Passionate about supporting children and young people

- Reliable, adaptable and team-oriented

- Committed to trauma-informed and therapeutic practice
n
- Able to build positive and professional relationships
n

n

Senior Youth Workers will also require proven Non-Family-Based Care experience, demonstrated leadership capability and a Certificate IV or higher in a relevant field .

Essential Requirements n

- Paid Working with Children Check
n
- Current National Crime Check
n
- Current Driver’s Licence (Green P or higher)
n
- Current First Aid & CPR
n
- Relevant qualifications and licensing requirements
n
