Senior BMS Engineer - Niagara N4 Certified

n We are currently seeking an experienced Senior BMS Engineer to join a leading Building Automation and Smart Buildings specialist delivering major commercial, healthcare, data centre and infrastructure projects across Melbourne.
n This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong BMS professional who is passionate about smart building technologies and is looking to play a key role in the design, delivery and commissioning of sophisticated Building Management Systems projects.
The Role

n Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the design, programming, commissioning and support of complex BMS installations, whilst providing technical leadership to junior engineers and project teams.
n Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Designing and engineering BMS solutions for major projects.
n
- Programming and commissioning BMS and integrated building systems.
n
- Developing graphics, control strategies and system architectures.
n
- Integrating HVAC, electrical, lighting and energy management systems.
n
- Providing technical support during project delivery and post-handover.
n
- Troubleshooting and optimising existing BMS installations.
n
- Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance to the wider team.
n
- Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors throughout project delivery.
n

About You
n
nTo be successful in this role, you will possess:n
n

n
- Niagara N4 Certification (essential).
n
- Extensive experience with Tridium Niagara Framework and associated technologies.
n




- Proven experience delivering and commissioning large-scale BMS projects.
n
- Robust understanding of HVAC controls, mechanical services and building automation systems.
n
- Experience integrating third-party systems and protocols including BACnet, Modbus and MQTT.
n
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
n
- Australian working rights and a current driver's licence.
n
