We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer who wants more than just another project. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the growth of this business, working alongside an experienced leadership team on complex civil infrastructure projects across Australia.

Your first project will be based in North Brisbane, delivering a major pump station, pipeline and structures project, with future opportunities across our expanding portfolio. If you've successfully delivered projects as either a main contractor or subcontractor across bridges, rail, pipelines, concrete structures, renewables or earthworks, we'd love to hear from you.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll take ownership of the engineering and delivery of key project packages, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Leading the planning and delivery of civil and structures projects
n
- Coordinating labour, plant, subcontractors and materials
n
- Managing short and medium-term construction programs
n
- Providing engineering and technical support to the project team
n
- Monitoring project costs, forecasts and financial performance
n
- Procuring and managing subcontractors and suppliers
n
- Maintaining quality, safety and environmental standards
n
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction methodologies
n
- Tracking progress against contractual and commercial targets
n




- Preparing monthly reporting, including cost-to-complete forecasts
n
- Working closely with the Project Manager to drive successful project outcomes
n

What you'll bring

n

n
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
n
- 7+ years' experience delivering civil infrastructure projects
n
- Proven experience managing self-perform construction works
n
- Strong understanding of programming, planning and cost control
n
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
n
- Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
n
- A genuine commitment to safety and quality
n
