Role 1: Senior Associate Electrical Engineer

n

Purpose & Scope

n

Lead electrical engineering design and consultancy for advanced facilities projects, primarily data centers and other mission-critical environments. Act as a technical lead within multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage complex electrical services design projects and electrical components within larger programs.
n
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Managers, and other discipline leads.
n
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance.
n
- Support bids and proposals; maintain strong client relationships for repeat work.
n
- Drive innovation and digital delivery in line with Jacobs sustainability and resilience goals.
n

Technical Focus

n

- Medium and low voltage distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communications.
n
- Compliance with local codes and advanced facilities standards.
n
- Integration with data center power distribution and mission-critical systems.
n

Qualifications & Skills

n

n
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering; skilled registration (or eligibility).
n
- Extensive experience in electrical design for advanced facilities (data centers, pharma, mission-critical).
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
- Ability to lead projects, mentor teams, and deliver under budget and time constraints.
