Position: Roof Plumber
Salary: $79000 to $83000 plus applicable superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week
Mode: Full time
Location: Blacktown. NSW

Business is located in Western NSW. Business is looking for a full-time skilled Roof Plumber to join the team. Business is situated at Blacktown. You will be required to work across various construction sites Business is looking for a Roof Plumber with a robust focus on efficiency and quality. Must have own tools and transport.

Key Responsibilities:

n

Install and repair gutters, downpipes, box gutters and roof drainage systems.

n

Install metal roof sheets and wall cladding

n

Install fascias, ridge capping, valleys and flashings

n

Flash around roof penetrations, such as skylights, vents and pipes

n

Measure, cut, fold and join sheet metal

n

Install and repair roof components and coverings

n

Collect and connect rainwater to appropriate systems

n

Read plans, take measurements and calculate required materials

n

Inspect roofs and identify leaks, damage or drainage problems

n

Remove and replace damaged roofing materials

n

Fabricate custom flashings and other sheet-metal components

n

Work safely at heights and use scaffolding where required

n





Follow workplace health & safety requirements, building requirements and relevant plumbing standards

n

Clean up the work area and maintain tools/equipment

n

Experience and other requirements:

Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.

n
- n

Driver license, Trade license and white card

n
- n

Asbestos awareness

n
- n

Ability to work both unsupervised and in a team.

n

n

Salary Package: $79,000 - $83,000 per annum Plus Superannuation.

n

Qualifications:

n

n
- n

Certificate III or higher in relevant trade .

n
- n

Three years of experience can substitute for formal qualification.

n

n

Proven experience as a Roof Plumber in construction industry.

Strong knowledge of standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
