District Eatery is a contemporary neighbourhood café in Gladesville, Sydney, known for its elevated brunch and relaxed local vibe.
n It serves all-day breakfast, brunch, and lunch, focusing on fresh seasonal ingredients, specialty coffee (including St Ali), and creative takes on Aussie café classics.

n District Eatery is now looking for an experienced Chef to join their team.
n
The right candidate will be responsible for:

n

n
- Assist cooks and chef with preparations;
n
- Demonstrate various cooking techniques;
n
- Minimise wastage;
n
- Train new cooks and chefs on platings and cooking procedures;
n
- Plan and change menus with restaurant manager and Head chef;
n
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed;
n
- Supervise kitchen staff;
n




- Deal with waiters and other members;
n
- Cook, slice and prepare ingredients, such as meat, fish and vegetables;
n
- Ensure all ingredients are properly stored and labeled;
n
- Manage operations of the kitchen, including rostering and purchasing;
n

About you: n
n

n
- At least 1 year of experience as a Chef;
n
- Strong cooking and management skills;
n
- Ability to manage and supervise team and orders;
n
- Strong creativity and ability to assist cooks and Chefs throughout the service;
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
n

Job type: Permanent/full-timen
nSalary: $79,000 - $83,000 n
