Senior Geotechnical Engineer n
nWe are currently partnering with a highly reputable engineering consultancy to support the growth of their geotechnical team, in their Perth office. We have an opportunity for a professional engineer with a profound understanding of geotechnical engineering principles, robust problem-solving skills, and an enthusiasm for introducing innovative engineering solutions. n
About the opportunity n
nAs a Senior Geotechnical Engineer within this engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for stakeholder management, project management and technical leadership capabilities. You will contribute to medium-large scale projects, predominantly within civil infrastructure and rail sectors. Working alongside a talented team of engineers, you will play a crucial role in the growing team. n
nMain responsibilities include: n

- Lead projects on behalf of clients (medium scale projects).
n
- Monitor the performance for various projects and identify viable solutions, as and when required.
n
- Build strong relationships with clients and contribute to revenue generation.
n
- Pursue recent business and seek additional business from current clients.
n
- Provide guidance and meaningful support to junior engineers.
n
- Collaborate productively with other disciplinary teams on a range of projects.
n





About you n
nYou are an ambitious Senior Geotechnical Engineer who encompasses true leadership qualities. Ideally, you’ve come from an engineering consultancy, client-side or qualified services background. You thrive in collaborative environments and are dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering solutions, propelling the team forward - together. n
nEssential requirements: n

n
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field. A postgraduate degree in geotechnical engineering would be advantageous.
n
- Minimum of 10+ years’ of experience in geotechnical engineering.
n
- Professional Membership Engineers Australia (MIEAust).
n
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), or working towards - highly advantageous.
n
- Excellent understanding of Australian geotechnical engineering standards and guidelines.
n
- Robust people leadership skills.
