Youwillworkacrossavariedrangeofmechanicalequipment,withopportunitiestoapplyyourdiagnosticandrepairskillsinanenvironmentwherereliability,accountabilityandsafetyarecritical.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect,serviceandrepairlightvehicles,heavyvehiclesandGroundSupportEquipment
- Diagnosemechanical,dieselandhydraulicfaultsusingsystematictroubleshootingmethods
- Carryoutpreventativemaintenancetominimiseequipmentdowntime
- Attendbreakdownsandcompleteeffectiveon-siterepairs
- Identifymechanicalissuesandrecommendappropriaterepairsolutions
- Worksafelywithincontrolledoperationalandairsideenvironments
- Maintainaccurateservicerecords,jobreportsandmaintenancedocumentation




- Completerepairsinaccordancewithworkplacesafetyandqualitystandards
- Collaboratewithothermechanicsandoperationalteammembers
- Communicateprofessionallywithclientsandrelevantworkplacepersonnel
- Maintaintools,equipmentandworkareasinasafeandorganisedcondition
- Applypracticalknowledgeandprevioustradeexperiencetospecialisedequipment

Requirements & Eligibility

- RelevantqualificationasaLightVehicleMechanicorHeavyDieselMechanic
- Approximately5yearsormoreofrelevanthands-onmechanicalexperience
- Demonstratedexperienceworkingwithlightvehicles,heavyvehiclesorheavyequipment
- Strongmechanicaldiagnosticandproblem-solvingcapabilities
- Abilitytoprovideevidenceoftradequalificationsandrelevantworkexperience
- Abilitytoworkindependentlywhilecontributingeffectivelytoateam
- Strongcommitmenttoworkplacesafetyandprofessionalstandards
- CurrentHRDriverLicence
- Weldingexperienceisadvantageous
- GSEoraviation-relatedmechanicalexperienceisadvantageous
- Diesel,hydraulicandbreakdownmaintenanceexperienceisadvantageous
- AbilitytoobtainaPoliceClearance
