The business places a strong emphasis on technical excellence, mentoring, and practical, site‑based engineering .
The Role n
This is a great opportunity for an Engineering Geologist , from graduate through to approximately 8 years experience , to join a growing Gold Coast team.
n
The role offers a strong mix of field‑based investigations, geological logging, reporting, and construction support , with the opportunity to work closely with geotechnical engineers, senior practitioners, and business partner representatives.
n
Whether you are early in your career and looking for hands‑on experience and mentoring, or a more experienced engineering geologist seeking broader responsibility and project exposure, this role offers a supportive environment with clear development pathways.
Key Responsibilities n
n
- Undertake and support geotechnical and geological site investigations
n
- Geological and geotechnical logging of boreholes, test pits and excavations
n
- Assist with subsurface characterisation and ground model development
n
- Prepare factual and interpretive geological and geotechnical reports
n
- Provide construction support and verification services
n
- Support geohazard identification and risk assessment
n
- Work closely with geotechnical engineers, business partners, and contractors
n
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and professionalism on site
n
Ideal Client Profile nn
- Degree qualified in Engineering Geology, Geology, or a related discipline
n
- Graduate to approximately 8 years experience in engineering geology or geotechnical environments
n
- Strong site investigation and logging experience
n
- Comfortable working in the field and on active construction sites
n
- Able to produce clear, accurate factual and interpretive reports
n
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
n
- Proactive, practical, and keen to continue developing technical capability
n
- Current Class C drivers licence
n
n
