Australian Training Company (ATC) has an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who are interested in commencing or continuing a Certificate III Roof Plumbing Apprenticeship .

n

You’ll work with a qualified and experienced tradespersons located across the Ipswich area, learning valuable skills on real job sites. This is a full time, Monday to Friday role where you can earn while you learn and build a long-term career in the plumbing industry.

About The Role n

As a Roof Plumbing apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience working at heights and installing a range of roof plumbing systems. You’ll learn to safely use tools and equipment while developing practical trade skills under supervision.

Duties Include n

- Learning to use hand tools and specialised equipment
n
- Working safely at heights
n
- Installing roof drainage components
n
- Installing external flashings
n
- Installing various roof sheeting profiles
n
- Following safety procedures and instructions on site
n

- Committed and enthusiastic about starting or continuing an apprenticeship

- Strong attention to detail
n
- Good manual dexterity
n
- Motivated and eager to learn
n
- Able to follow instructions
n
- Works well in a team environment
n
- Good time management skills
n

Requirements nn
- Driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
n
- WHS White Card (essential)
n
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
n
- Available for immediate start
n

This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) . Recent school leavers are strongly encouraged to apply, with full training provided. Successful applicants will be paid under the Plumbing and Fire Sprinklers Award 2020 .

Please note: Applicants who already hold a Certificate III or higher qualification (including university graduates) are not eligible.
