Bradley’s Curtains & Blinds is a third-generation family business that has served Woodend and the Macedon Ranges for more than 50 years. We are looking for a friendly, organised and enthusiastic person to join our close-knit team.

This is a varied administration and customer-consulting position. You’ll help keep our office and customer jobs organised while gradually learning about curtains, blinds, shutters, awnings, fabrics and motorisation.

The role includes

- Answering telephone calls, emails and customer enquiries

- Welcoming and assisting customers in our showroom

- Preparing quotes, orders and job paperwork

- Following up customers, suppliers and outstanding jobs

- Scheduling appointments and installations

- Keeping customer records and computer systems up to date

- Helping customers choose suitable products, fabrics and colours

- Learning our products and assisting with consultations as your experience grows

- Providing general administrative support to our team

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a friendly and professional manner

- Is organised, reliable and pays attention to detail

- Communicates confidently in person, by telephone and by email

- Is comfortable using computers and learning recent systems





- Has a positive attitude and a good sense of humour

- Enjoys working with customers and as part of a small team

- Takes initiative and is willing to learn

- Has an interest in interiors, decorating or window furnishings

Experience in administration, customer service, retail, interior decorating or window furnishings would be an advantage, but it is not essential. For the right person, attitude and willingness to learn are more important than direct industry experience.

Full training will be provided in our products, quoting systems and business processes. For someone interested in developing their interior-decoration knowledge, we may also provide support toward suitable professional training.

This is a permanent, full-time, in-person position based in Woodend.

Salary: $55,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience and capability.
