About Us?
The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.
The focus of IUIH Aged Care team is to work with the local indigenous community and relevant key stakeholders to increase access to comprehensive care and provide well-coordinated, quality in home care services and eligible aged care clients.
About the Role?
As Administration Officer - Aged Care, your role is responsible for the provision of effective and effective administration and communications support services to enable the Aged Care service teams to meet their business objectives.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Coordination of reception duties for the relevant Aged Care services.
- Responsible for the administration of the 1800 service once introduced in Southside.
- Coordinate provision of general administration support including photocopying, compilation of materials/folders, preparation for conferences and meetings and shredding of documents.
- Coordinate Finance paperwork by collating all accounts payable and accounts receivable along with all relevant documentation and approvals for lodgement with Corporate Services.
- Coordinate petty cash reimbursements.

- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Current Criminal History Check.
- Experience in office/administration/reception roles
Desirable, but not mandatory:
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities
- Preferable Certificate III in Administration or relevant area.
