About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Assistant Project Officer to join the Knowledge and Innovation team. You will play a key role in shaping how knowledge is managed, maintained and improved across Hospitality and Racing. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of knowledge products that support the regulation of hospitality and racing industries in NSW.
In this role, you will coordinate the intake, review and publishing of knowledge content; ensuring documents are properly governed and easy to access. You will contribute to the management of standard operating procedures, policies, guidance materials and other critical documentation, while supporting content reviews, quality assurance activities and knowledge management requirements.
Working closely with internal subject matter experts and stakeholders, you will support initiatives to improve processes, strengthen knowledge resources and ensure information remains accessible and fit for purpose. You will also assist with system improvements and day-to-day operational support to strengthen organisational knowledge management practices.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with internal stakeholders,
process improvement and knowledge product development to deliver meaningful outcomes within a regulatory environment.
About You
You are an organised and collaborative professional with experience developing and maintaining knowledge products including standard operating procedures, work instructions, governance templates or other operational documentation.
You have strong written communication skills and can confidently interpret complex legislation, policies or procedures and translate them into practical, user-friendly resources. You are detail orientated and take pride in ensuring information is accurate, consistent and aligned to governance standards.
Experience working within a regulatory, compliance or policy environment, and an understanding of knowledge lifecycle management, will be highly regarded.
