About the Role n
As a Registered Nurse at Grand Cedar, you will provide clinical leadership and high-quality nursing care while working collaboratively with residents, families and the wider care team.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Providing protected, high-quality and person-centred nursing care
n
- Completing comprehensive clinical assessments and developing and reviewing individualised care plans
n
- Administering medications safely and accurately in accordance with legislation, policies and clinical guidelines
n
- Completing clinical procedures including wound care,
pressure injury management and blood glucose monitoring
n
- Monitoring residents and recognising and responding appropriately to changes in their health and wellbeing
n
- Responding to clinical incidents and emergency situations
n
- Providing clinical leadership, guidance and support to Personal Care Workers
n
- Communicating and liaising effectively with GPs, allied health professionals, residents, families and other healthcare providers
n
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and resident records
n
- Ensuring compliance with AHPRA standards, relevant legislation, clinical policies and workplace health and safety requirements.

About You n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Previous residential aged care experience is highly desirable
n
- Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong clinical documentation and organisational skills
n
- A compassionate, respectful and person-centred approach
n
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
n
- A strong commitment to resident safety, quality care and clinical governance
n
- Flexibility and availability to work casual shifts as required
