nMayflower Building and Construction is a boutique carpentry company delivering high-quality residential and commercial construction services across the Sydney metropolitan area. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and skilled Full-Time Carpenter to join our expanding team. The successful applicant will work across various construction sites throughout Sydney.n
nKey Responsibilitiesn
n•Study construction drawings and specifications to determine material requirements, dimensions, and installation procedures.n
n•Select, order, and prepare timber and other building materials.n
n•Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and nail materials according to project specifications.n
n•Construct and erect wall and roof frameworks, install sub-flooring and floorboards, and ensure the accuracy and alignment of structures.n
n•Install fascia panels,



roof sheathing, exterior wall cladding, door frames, and window frames.n
n•Assemble timber structures and fittings ready for installation.n
n•Carry out general carpentry duties while maintaining high standards of workmanship and workplace safety.n
n•Work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.n
n
nSuccessful candidate must haven
n
n•AQF Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalentn
n•A longer duration Australian visa with full work rights. n
n•Minimum 1-3 Years of work experience in Australia in Carpentry role with robust reference from pervious employersn
n•Must have white card n
n•Ability to solve problems with technical skillsn
n•Effective communication skillsn
n•Willingness travel across various sites in Sydney Metropolitan
