We are looking for an experienced and confident Barista to join our team.

We are specifically looking for someone with at least 2 years of hands-on barista experience in a busy commercial cafe who can confidently manage the coffee station independently.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 2 years of professional barista experience in a cafe – REQUIRED
- Confident working independently on a commercial espresso machine
- Able to manage the coffee station during busy periods
- Fast and consistent preparation of espresso-based coffees
- Strong milk texturing and latte art skills
- Able to adjust and dial in the grinder when required
- Good understanding of coffee quality and espresso extraction
- Comfortable handling multiple coffee orders during peak periods
- Friendly and confident with customers
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Weekend availability is essential
- Valid Australian working rights

This role requires real, hands-on experience working as a barista in a commercial café environment.

A barista course or certificate alone is not sufficient experience for this position.

We need someone who can step behind the coffee machine and confidently handle the coffee station with minimal training and supervision.





Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based coffees
- Manage the coffee station efficiently during busy service
- Maintain speed, consistency and presentation
- Dial in and adjust the grinder when necessary
- Maintain correct espresso extraction and milk texture
- Keep the coffee station and equipment clean and organised
- Provide friendly and productive customer service
- Assist with general café duties when required
- Support the team during busy periods
