About MARVELL LANE

MARVELL LANE is a premium Australian brand that designs and sells lingerie, swimwear, and clothing for busty ladies.

Based in beautiful Byron Bay, with a showroom in Paddington Brisbane, we are a small, energetic team whose mission is to make shopping actually fun for women with fuller busts. We exclusively produce garments in sizes 8D-16J.

About the role

We're looking for a friendly, fashion-loving person to join us in our Paddington showroom!

Our showrooms are a little different from traditional retail. Customers shop with the help of our team, so you'll get to know each person, help them find the right styles and sizes, and guide them through the whole bra fitting experience, from their first hello to finding something they absolutely love.

Don't know how to fit a bra? That's completely okay. We'll teach you! You'll learn our fitting process and become an expert in our small product catalog as you go.

Our showroom is intentionally calm, considered and highly personalised, with a strong focus on quality over quantity - as long as our customers are comfortable and having fun, you’ve done your job!

In your downtime, you'll assist our marketing team with tasks across Instagram, Meta, and online customer service.

What you'll be doing:

- Looking after the day-to-day running of our Paddington showroom.

- Welcoming customers and creating a warm, relaxed shopping experience.

- Learning our bra fitting process and helping customers find which of our 50 sizes is perfect for them.

- Keeping the showroom looking beautiful.

- Processing sales, returns and exchanges.

- Looking after our stock and helping us stay organised, with the help of the Warehouse team in Byron Bay.

- Helping with fittings online when needed, after you’re confident in the showroom.





- Giving the marketing team a hand with day-to-day marketing tasks in your downtime.

You don't need to have done all of this before. We're a small business, so you'll have the prospect to learn as you go and get involved in lots of different parts of the business.

The hours

This is a full-time position, with a short week:

Tuesday–Friday: 9am–5pm

Saturday: 9am–3pm

About you

We're looking for someone who is warm, confident, curious, and genuinely enjoys being around people.

You'll probably be someone who:

- Loves fashion and has a good eye for style.

- Has some past retail experience, and is looking to grow a career in fashion.

- Is naturally friendly and enjoys chatting to people.

- Is confident enough to work independently and make decisions.

- Notices the little things and takes pride in doing things properly.

- Is organised and can keep on top of lots of little tasks.

- Communicates clearly and kindly.

- Is happy to learn new things and have a go, even when you haven't done them before.

- Presents yourself in a polished, put-together way.

Bra fitting experience is absolutely not required. We'll teach you everything you need to know.
