We are seeking casual staff with the flexibility to work several shifts a week, Monday - Sunday, including evening work. Great as a second job or may suit experienced university student. Assist our guests accessing temporary housing by manning our Help Desk which organises reservations/bookings, enters data into our CRM database and makes referrals to external services as appropriate.

Key duties

- Answer a wide variety of calls to our 1300 telephone number to assist our guests experiencing homelessness, as well as government and non-government agencies and Dignity team members

- Process bookings using our purpose-built CRM and arrange appropriate services/referrals

- Assist our guests to remotely access our Supported Temporary Accommodation

- Follow policies and procedures relating to incident management

- Ensure accurate record keeping and database management

- Additional administration duties as required

What you'll need





- Be Sydney-based or be able to travel to Sydney for occasional team meetings & organisation-wide events

- Suitable remote working conditions including reliable internet and privacy

- Availability/flexibility to work a variety of shifts across 7 days
- A background in a busy call centre/reception environment

- Excellent computer literacy, data entry, MS office

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Organisation and time management skills

- Personal maturity, self-awareness, and an ability to remain calm during high-pressure situations

- Proven capacity to manage skilled boundaries

- Able to listen respectfully to our guests who often have complex needs and backgrounds
- The capacity to work with dignity at all times
- A current employment Working with Children Check or ability to obtain

- DV Aware Certification or willingness to obtain

Location: Remote | Occasional Sydney attendance

Position: Casual | Minimum availability 2-3 shifts per week | Monday to Sunday
