Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Canberra. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks, including framing, installation, and finishing work. Responsibilities:

- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in compliance with safety regulations.




- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues to management.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
- Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or relevant vocational training.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valuable physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy materials.
