Casual Case Managers | Illawarra and/ or Shoalhaven

Level 3, Paypoint 1, Casual | $50.61 per hour

Operating throughout the Illawarra and Shoalhaven, SASSI provides safety through housing and support to women and their children who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or impacted by domestic violence. SASSI also runs the Shoalhaven Homeless Hub, which provides a drop-in service for anyone in the Shoalhaven region experiencing homelessness.

We are building a casual pool of Case Managers to support our teams across Nowra and Wollongong. As a Casual Case Manager, you will provide trauma-informed, strengths-based case management to women and children experiencing homelessness or domestic and family violence, working alongside them to build safety, stability and pathways to longer-term housing.

About this casual role

This is genuinely casual employment. There is no guaranteed number of hours and no guarantee of ongoing or regular work. Shifts are offered on an as-needed basis to cover planned and unplanned staff leave, vacancies while permanent positions are recruited, or periods of increased client demand.

To be considered, you will need reasonable availability to accept shifts at short notice across weekdays. We will always discuss available shifts with you before rostering you on, and you're free to decline shifts that don't suit you. There is no obligation on SASSI to offer a minimum number of shifts, and no obligation on you to accept every shift offered.

This casual pool may lead to opportunities for more regular or permanent work as vacancies arise, but this is not guaranteed.

To be female is a genuine occupational requirement under Section 31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
