We are currently seeking an experienced Site-Based Electrical Project Engineer to join a high-profile construction project in Melbourne. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on-site, enjoys problem-solving in real time, and wants to be part of delivering a landmark project from the ground up.

The Role
n Reporting to the Electrical Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering electrical services on-site. You'll work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day site-based electrical engineering activities
n
- Coordinate electrical subcontractors and suppliers
n
- Review and manage shop drawings, RFIs, and technical submissions
n
- Assist with program planning, sequencing, and progress tracking
n
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, Australian Standards, and safety requirements
n
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities
n
- Identify and help resolve design, constructability, and installation issues
n
- Contribute to cost control, variations, and reporting
n

n About You n
n

n
- Degree or trade-qualified background in Electrical Engineering or a related field
n
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer on large commercial or infrastructure projects
n
- Strong site experience with electrical services installations
n




- Solid understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
n
- Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively on-site
n
- Well-organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
n
- Familiar with Australian Standards and local construction practices
n
