National Fire Group is seeking hardworking and dedicated Solid Plasterer to join their team. Position is responsible for preparing, applying and finishing specialist fire-resistant plaster, cementitious fireproofing compounds and associated passive fire protection materials to walls, ceilings, structural elements, penetrations and building components.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Read and interpret architectural drawings, construction plans, specifications and passive fire protection details.
- Identify areas requiring fire-rated plaster, render, cementitious fireproofing or other approved passive fire protection systems.
- Prepare walls, ceilings, structural surfaces and other substrates prior to application.
- Measure, mark and set out work areas in accordance with drawings,



specifications and required fire-rating systems.
- Prepare, mix and apply fire-resistant plaster, cementitious compounds, renders and other approved passive fire protection materials.
- Apply materials to the specified thickness and finish using trowels, hawks, spraying equipment and other appropriate tools.
- Install and finish fire-rated plaster systems around structural elements, service penetrations, joints and interfaces where specified.
- Repair damaged or defective passive fire protection materials and reinstate fire-rated surfaces.
- Follow manufacturer's technical data sheets, installation instructions and approved system specifications.
- Comply with workplace health and safety requirements, safe work method statements and site procedures.
- Follow environmental, waste-management and hazardous-material handling requirements applicable to construction sites.

Skills, experience and qualification :

- Certificate and experience in solid plastering is a must
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and organised
- Strong understanding of workplace safety requirements
