- Join a close-knit village team where your work truly matters
- Make a real difference every day, one clean, comfortable home at a time
Are you a reliable, hands-on team player who takes pride in a job well done? We’re looking for a Housekeeper to join our Paynesville village, working alongside our Park Manager and wider team to keep our residents’ living spaces clean, protected and welcoming. It’s a role where your effort truly counts, helping create a home our residents can feel proud of.
Why Eureka?
At Eureka, we believe community living is about more than providing accommodation. We create welcoming places where residents and guests feel safe, connected and genuinely at home. Guided by our values — Putting People First, Embracing the Challenge, Committing and Following Up, Acting with Purpose and Building Belonging — we’re redefining community living by delivering reliable, dignified housing and memorable holiday stays that foster stability, independence and meaningful connection.
What’s the role?
Reporting to the Park Manager and working closely with the broader village team, you’ll help maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the park. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering daily cleaning services in line with established schedules and task lists
- Cleaning communal areas including reception, hallways, bathrooms and public spaces
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, rubbish removal, restocking and sanitising high-touch surfaces
- Supporting laundry services as required
- Keeping accurate records of completed cleaning tasks
- Following WHS, hygiene and safe chemical handling procedures at all times
- Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards or incidents promptly
- Providing friendly front desk or guest assistance,
including basic check-in/out procedures
- Greeting and engaging with residents and guests professionally, courteously and with empathy
What’s in it for you?
- Flexible casual hours to suit your lifestyle
- Join a close-knit team backed by a company that puts people first
- Be part of a role that genuinely shapes residents’ comfort and everyday wellbeing
- Ongoing support from your Park Manager and the wider Eureka team
What’s it like working for Eureka?
Our Housekeepers are an important part of village life. You’ll work alongside the Park Manager and broader village team in an environment where residents are at the heart of what we do. It’s practical, hands-on work — some of it outdoors in all weather — but it’s also about the small things that make a difference, from a freshly made bed to a sparkling clean bathroom, that help residents feel truly at home.
Is this role right for you?
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have previous experience in commercial or residential housekeeping, although this is desirable rather than essential
- Understand the importance of hygiene, infection control and safe chemical handling
- Are reliable, organised and comfortable following procedures and instructions
- Have strong attention to detail and good time management
- Are physically capable of manual cleaning tasks and comfortable working outdoors when needed
- Enjoy working as part of a team and interacting respectfully with residents
- Hold a Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check, or are willing to obtain these
- Are available to work flexible casual shifts
Ready to join Eureka?
If you’re looking for an opportunity to combine leadership, operations, hospitality and community engagement in a role where you can genuinely make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
