An exciting opportunity has become available for a caring and enthusiastic ELC Lunch Assistant to join the Early Learning Centre of a highly regarded independent school.
Working with the 3–4-year-old kinder program , you’ll play an important role in supporting children during the lunchtime routine, ensuring they feel safe, supported and engaged while educators take their lunch breaks.
About the Role Commencing 21 August , this ongoing position is perfect for someone looking for school-friendly hours in a collaborative and welcoming environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising children during the lunchtime period.
- Assisting with lunch set-up and pack-down/clean-up.
- Supporting children’s bathroom routines.
- Helping maintain a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and educators to support children’s wellbeing.
This is a collaborative team that values quality education, child wellbeing and supporting one another.
About You. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Experience working with children aged 3–4 years.
- A warm, outgoing and nurturing approach.
- Flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will also hold (or be willing to obtain):
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current Police Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
