The Opportunity
As the Operational Technology Officer in the City of Perth, Play a vital role in keeping the City running safely and smartly as the Operational Technology Support Officer, supporting critical systems including CCTV, carparks, building management and lighting controls.
Reporting to the Senior Operational Technology Coordinator within our ICT team, your responsibilities would primarily include:
- Keep critical technology running by triaging and resolving faults across CCTV, carparks, lighting and building management systems.
- Improve system reliability by identifying recurring issues, tracking faults and supporting continuous improvement.
- Coordinate contractors and projects to ensure quality, value for money and timely delivery.
- Support the future of the City’s technology through technical documentation, system renewals and procurement.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise Operational Technology systems, including CCTV (Geutebrück and Genetec).
- Technical knowledge across building management, lighting control, networking and fibre infrastructure.
- Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A sound understanding of cybersecurity principles and technical documentation.

Eligibility
To be eligible to work for us, you will need to demonstrate:
- A right to work in Australia (e.g. a birth certificate, current passport or current visa);
- A current ‘C’ class Australian drivers licence; and
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months).
