About the role
What we’re looking for (Selection Criteria)
You’resomeone who:
- Has experience managing land transactions and compensation matters, with a robust understanding of relevant legislation, acquisition processes and risk management.
- Can plan, coordinate and deliver complex projects, effectively managing competing priorities and ensuring outcomes are achieved on time.
- Builds strong stakeholder relationships, communicates with empathy and professionalism, and works collaboratively to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Uses critical thinking and sound judgement to analyse issues, solve complex problems and make informed decisions in a legislative and policy-driven environment.
- Drives continuous improvement, embraces innovation and remains calm, resilient and effective when working under pressure or managing challenging situations.
Qualifications and experience
You’llbring:
- Experience or knowledge in land acquisition, property, legal, planning,
or a related field; a relevant tertiary qualification will be highly regarded.
- A current Driver’s Licence (mandatory).
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends and overnight travel as required (mandatory).

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
